Every agent link wraps an original listing. Somewhere inside it is the platform (Weidian, Taobao, Tmall or 1688) and the item ID — a 10-digit number for Weidian, usually 12 for Taobao. Paste a link below and the converter finds both and rebuilds the original listing link, which you can paste into any agent. It runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere. It's most useful for spreadsheets built for agents that have closed, such as CNFans and AllChinaBuy, and for old JoyaBuy links.

Recognises Weidian, Taobao, Tmall and 1688 links, agent links that contain them (including URL-encoded ones), and repbuysheet.com links ending in the Weidian ID. Shortened links (bit.ly and similar) must be opened first so you can copy the full address.

How the converter finds the item ID

Agent links look different, but they carry the same information. Some put the whole original address inside the link, URL-encoded — you'll see %2F and %3A where slashes and colons should be. Others use a short form with a platform name and an ID, such as platform=WEIDIAN&id=. The converter decodes the link, looks for a platform name, then takes the ID that goes with it.

Why rebuild the original link at all, rather than keeping the agent link? Because the original is neutral. It works in every agent, it opens the listing directly if you want to check the seller's own photos, and it won't break when one agent changes its URL format or closes. When you build or update a spreadsheet, store the original link in one column and, if you like, an agent link in another.

Once you have the original link, paste it — or just the ID — into your agent's search bar. Every online agent in our tracker accepts Taobao links, and most accept Weidian links; a few also accept 1688.

Converting spreadsheets from agents that closed

  • CNFans stopped operating in August 2026. Its links usually include the platform and ID as parameters, which the converter reads.
  • AllChinaBuy is down. Its links normally embed the original address; the converter decodes it.
  • JoyaBuy became JoyaGoo in 2025. Old JoyaBuy links still contain the item; convert them, then search at JoyaGoo or any other agent.

When the converter can't help

If a link contains no platform name or ID — some agents use their own internal product numbers — there's nothing to extract. Open the link while the agent is still online, or look for the item by its photo in the seller's shop. And if the seller removed the listing, the ID won't lead anywhere, whatever agent you use.
